On January 5, witnessed by the heads of state of China and South Korea, Zheng Zhejie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Koo Yun-chul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance of South Korea, signed the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Safeguarding Children’s Rights and Promoting Children’s Well-being between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Strategy and Finance of the Republic of Korea.” Moving forward, the two sides will strengthen the exchange of child-friendly concepts and practical experiences through various means, including policy dialogue, mutual visits, and capacity-building training. They will continue to deepen practical cooperation in the field of child development, jointly enhance the well-being of children in both countries, and promote people-to-people bonds.
