According to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, the airport saw robust growth in operations and traffic in 2025, with a total of 330,000 flight movements, 50.46 million passengers, and 790,000 metric tons of cargo and mail handled throughout the year—representing year-over-year increases of 2.7%, 5.0%, and 7.9%, respectively. Both flight movements and annual passenger throughput—the two key operational indicators—reached record highs. According to statistics, by the end of 2025, Hangzhou Airport had established service to 223 passenger and cargo destinations, with its route network spanning five continents and covering 35 countries and regions, attracting a total of 75 domestic and international airlines to operate there. In 2025, the number of international travelers passing through Hangzhou Airport exceeded 5.3 million, a year-on-year increase of 11.6%. Hangzhou Airport has actively expanded and optimized its international route network, successively resuming passenger routes between Hangzhou and destinations such as Hanoi and Jakarta, and successfully attracting Emirates Airlines to establish operations there.
