Aave's Monthly Active Users Reach 155,000 in February, Setting a New All-Time High
Svmuu News: The monthly active user count for the DeFi lending protocol Aave reached approximately 155,000 in February, setting a new all-time high and marking a growth of about 100% over the past six months. Analysts point out that as the yield from basis trading dropped from 10%-30% to below 4%, low-risk yield strategies have diminished, leading investors to turn to DeFi lending. Currently, Aave's Total Value Locked (TVL) across 20 blockchains is close to $27 billion. Additionally, the governance group Aave Chan Initiative announced last week that it is ceasing operations due to transparency disputes with Aave Labs.
