WTI crude briefly fell to $97.6 per barrel, breaking below the $100 per barrel mark, and has since rebounded slightly to $99.4 per barrel, narrowing the day’s gain to 8.5%; Brent crude continued to slide, falling to $102.5 per barrel, with the day’s gain narrowing to 11%.
