Gate has upgraded to Gate for AI; the DEX now supports the standardized MCP interface
Svmuu News: Global cryptocurrency exchange Gate has announced an upgrade to its AI Agent infrastructure, Gate for AI. Today, it has fully upgraded its DEX MCP, providing AI Agents with native, full-scenario market insights and cross-chain trading capabilities. Gate for AI has now integrated CEX and DEX and established five core capability systems. First, centralized exchange capabilities (CEX), supporting access to spot trading, futures, wealth management, and token sales; Second, on-chain trading capabilities (DEX), supporting swaps, on-chain perpetual contracts, and meme coin trading, deeply aggregating liquidity from over 20 mainstream public blockchains, and achieving optimal price execution through smart routing; Third, a wallet and signature system, supporting wallet creation and on-chain signing; Fourth, a real-time news and sentiment data system, providing structured market updates and event data; Fifth, on-chain data and industry information query capabilities, supporting searches for cryptocurrencies, projects, addresses, and risk information. Gate for AI bridges centralized and on-chain markets through a unified interface, enabling AI to perform research, strategy generation, and trade execution within a single framework. Once developers integrate with mainstream AI systems, the AI can directly access trading and data capabilities. The system adopts a two-tier MCP + Skills architecture, designed to extend exchange capabilities from traditional user interfaces into infrastructure accessible to AI. This upgrade marks a gradual shift in trading platform capabilities toward AI-native infrastructure, and Gate will continue to drive the application of AI Agents in the digital asset market.
