Tencent Responds to OpenClaw Founder: Always Credits ClawHub as Source, Hopes to Become a Sponsor
Svmuu News According to reports, in response to the OpenClaw founder's questioning about Tencent scraping Skill and calling for support to avoid increasing server costs, Tencent responded that it understands these concerns. SkilHub is a localized skill platform built by Tencent based on the OpenClaw ecosystem, aiming to provide Chinese users with better usability and access speed. Tencent has always been transparent in stating that it is merely a local mirror site and consistently credits ClawHub as the source. In the first week, it processed 180GB of traffic for users (approximately 870,000 downloads), while only pulling 1GB of data from the official source (and not through concurrent requests). Currently, many members of the team are active contributors (code and PRs), and they also hope to support this ecosystem and become a better sponsor.
