Ethereum Foundation Releases "EF Mandate" Reaffirming Network's Core Mission
Svmuu News The Ethereum Foundation Council has released a document titled "EF Mandate," systematically clarifying its role and responsibilities within the Ethereum ecosystem. The document emphasizes that Ethereum must maintain censorship resistance, open source, and a focus on privacy and security (CROPS) to serve user sovereignty, reduce the risk of economic extraction, and optimize the user experience. The EF stated it will focus on undertaking critical tasks that are difficult for other participants to be responsible for in the long term. It also indicated that this "Mandate" serves both as an action guide for internal members and as a "part charter, part manifesto, and part guide" for community reference.
