Alibaba Cloud raises prices on AI computing and storage products by up to 34%
Svmuu News: Alibaba Cloud has issued an announcement on its official website stating that due to surging global demand for AI and rising supply chain costs, prices for Alibaba Cloud products such as AI computing power and storage have increased by up to 34%. Specifically, computing cards such as the PingTouGe Zhenwu 810E have seen price increases ranging from 5% to 34%, while the CPFS (Intelligent Computing Edition) file storage product has increased by 30%. According to sources familiar with the matter, another key reason for this round of price hikes is the "explosive growth in token call volumes." Alibaba Cloud’s MaaS business, Bailian, achieved its highest-ever growth rate from January to March this year. Alibaba Cloud is currently prioritizing scarce AI computing resources toward its token business.
