According to a report by Iranian media Fars News, Iran stated that it will not accept a ceasefire nor enter into any negotiation process with the party that violated the agreement, as negotiating with the United States is illogical. Iran also confirmed that the United States is indeed intensifying efforts to broker a ceasefire.
