BitGo Expands Support for Canton Network, Adds Compliant Custody Services for USDCx and cBTC
Svmuu News Digital asset infrastructure company BitGo announced that it now supports assets based on the CIP-56 token standard on the Canton Network and offers compliant custody services for USDCx and cBTC. CIP-56, as the core token standard of the Canton Network, is similar to Ethereum's ERC-20 but is specifically designed for regulated financial markets. It features private transactions, native "Delivery versus Payment" (DvP) settlement, embedded KYC/AML mechanisms, and second-level deterministic settlement. (Businesswire)
