Iran Presents Five Ceasefire Conditions, Stating "Accept Conditions First, Then Negotiate"
Svmuu News According to a report by the Iranian government-controlled news channel Press TV, an Iranian government official issued a statement indicating that Iran has given a negative response to the U.S. proposal and insists that the war will only end on Iran's own terms and timeline. The official, who is familiar with the details of the Iranian government, stated that Iran will not allow Trump to decide when the war ends. He also emphasized Tehran's determination to continue its defense and deliver "heavy blows" to the enemy until its demands are met. The official outlined five specific conditions for Iran to agree to end the war, including: ① A complete cessation of the enemy's "aggression and assassination" operations. ② The establishment of specific mechanisms to ensure that war is not imposed on Iran again. ③ Guarantee and clear definition of compensation for war losses and payment for reconstruction costs. ④ An end to the war on all fronts and across all involved resistance groups throughout the region. ⑤ International recognition and guarantee of Iran's sovereign rights to exercise jurisdiction over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has conveyed to all well-intentioned intermediaries that a ceasefire is contingent upon the acceptance of all its conditions. The official stressed, "No negotiations will take place before that," and reiterated that Iran's defensive operations will continue until the aforementioned conditions are met. (Jin10)
