Svmuu News: Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy, stated that approximately 80% of the company's issued perpetual preferred stock, STRC, is held by retail investors. This product pays dividends monthly, with a current annualized yield of about 11.5%.
Saylor said that STRC is designed as a low-volatility income instrument trading around a $100 par value, with the dividend rate adjustable based on market conditions. This year, Strategy has raised funds through this product to allocate to Bitcoin, with cumulative investments nearing $3 billion. The company plans to raise a total of $42 billion through related financing arrangements, with STRC accounting for $21 billion. Benchmark analysts noted that as demand for STRC grows, Strategy's capacity to allocate to Bitcoin may continue to strengthen. (Bloomberg)
