Svmuu News Ethereum core developers have decided not to prioritize the inclusion of the "frame transaction" proposal in the upcoming Hegota upgrade. Supported by Vitalik Buterin, the proposal aims to enhance user experience and strengthen quantum resistance. However, developers believe its implementation complexity is high and could potentially impact the upgrade timeline.
Scheduled for launch in the second half of 2026, Hegota has currently confirmed FOCIL as a key feature to improve the network's censorship resistance. Developers stated that the frame transaction proposal will be marked as "considered for inclusion" rather than a mandatory component, and further evaluation of its technical complexity and implementation impact is still required.
