Xiaomi MiMo Large Model Lead: Token Growth Could Reach 100x This Year
Svmuu At the "AI Open Source Frontier Forum" held during the "Artificial Intelligence Theme Day" of the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, Luo Fuli, the head of Xiaomi's MiMo large model, stated, "The longer-term perspective is that due to the rapid advancement of the large models themselves, and with better support from our agent framework, we can foresee our inference demand. I believe that this year, what has already happened is that there has been nearly 10x growth over the past period. So this year, could the overall token growth reach 100x? This actually brings us to another dimension of competition, which is computing power, or rather inference chips, and even down to energy." (Jin10)
