According to the official website of the Cardano Foundation, Cardano and venture capital firm Draper Dragon have announced the launch of the Orion Fund (Draper Dragon Ecosystem Fund). The fund has a target size of $80 million and is designated for investing in native and integrated projects on Cardano. It will focus on Real-World Assets (RWA) and institutional-grade DeFi, aiming to enhance Cardano's TVL and on-chain activity.
It is reported that the fund will be managed by Draper Dragon, with the Cardano Foundation serving as the constitutional manager providing ecosystem and technical support. A portion of the returns will be channeled back to the Cardano treasury through the ownerless entity Arouet Holdings.
