Currently, silver, gold, copper, natural gas, and most crucially, crude oil may enter an "up-too-much" zone by the end of 2026 and face similar risks of a pullback. Typically, rapid asset price increases are supported by fundamentals, but they also incentivize increased supply and suppress demand, ultimately leading to price reversals. Among these, rapid spikes in crude oil prices are often "disruptive" and have historically triggered chain reactions in markets or the economy multiple times.
