Svmuu News: Cryptocurrency wallet Zerion disclosed that North Korean hackers conducted a long-term social engineering attack using AI, stealing approximately $100,000 from the company's hot wallet last week. Zerion confirmed that user funds, applications, and infrastructure were unaffected and proactively disabled the web application as a precautionary measure. Zerion also stated that the attackers obtained logged-in sessions and credentials of some team members as well as the private key to the company's hot wallet, noting that AI is changing the way cyber threats operate.
