Svmuu News Cow DAO posted on platform X stating that an attacker had deceived the DNS registrar using forged documents on April 14th to gain control of the cow.fi domain. The attacker deployed a highly realistic phishing website, executing the attack in two phases: first, using a wallet drainer to trick users into signing malicious transactions, and later, using fake wallet pop-ups to steal seed phrases and passwords. Control of the cow.fi domain has now been recovered, and operations have been running normally on cow.finance for some time, with a gradual transition back to the original domain underway.
