SpaceX Prospectus Discloses Executive Compensation, Musk Receives Symbolic Salary
Svmuu News: SpaceX's prospectus shows that President Gwynne Shotwell's total compensation last year reached $85.8 million, placing her among the highest-paid executives in the United States. Shotwell, who also serves as Chief Operating Officer, had a base salary of $1 million, with the majority of her compensation coming from stock options and awards. The prospectus summary indicates that Chief Financial Officer Bret Johnson's total compensation was $9.8 million; meanwhile, CEO Elon Musk, a major shareholder of SpaceX, paid himself a salary of only $54,080.
