Svmuu News Morgan Stanley Investment Management has launched a government money market fund called the Stablecoin Reserves Portfolio (MSNXX), aimed at providing stablecoin issuers with a reserve asset holding solution that complies with the requirements of the GENIUS Act. This fund is part of the Morgan Stanley Institutional Liquidity Funds Trust and is primarily targeted at payment-type stablecoin issuers who need qualified investment instruments to support their token reserves. The fund maintains a stable net asset value of $1 by investing in cash, U.S. Treasury bills, notes, and bonds with remaining maturities of 93 days or less, as well as overnight repurchase agreements collateralized by U.S. Treasuries. Amy Oldenburg, Head of Digital Assets Strategy at Morgan Stanley, stated that this move aims to modernize financial infrastructure and expand digital investment solutions for institutional clients. As of March 31, 2026, Morgan Stanley Investment Management and its affiliates managed assets totaling $1.9 trillion.
