Swiss regulator says Mythos could pose financial risk
Svmuu reported that the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) stated that enabling banks to quickly and easily access the artificial intelligence tool Mythos developed by Anthropic would pose a serious risk to the country's financial system. A spokesperson for the agency said: "An uncontrolled and immediately available AI model such as Mythos would be considered a systemic risk. In such a scenario, nearly all existing software systems could be simultaneously exposed to a large number of previously unknown zero-day vulnerabilities, which would be exploited immediately—and that exploitation would be AI-enabled."
