In the forex market, the USD/CNH exchange rate fell 0.01% intraday to 6.81269. The USD/JPY exchange rate rose 0.13% intraday to 156.522.

In global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 (EUSTX50) rose 1.98% intraday to 6,036.46 points; the UK FTSE 100 (UK100) rose 1.49% intraday to 10,446.1 points; and the German DAX 40 (GER40) rose 1.76% intraday to 24,940.1 points.
