Pakistani diplomatic sources stated that Iranian officials are expected to formally respond on May 8, with the US side awaiting Iran's position on key issues.
Iran recently submitted a new plan containing 14 points to the US through Pakistan as an intermediary. The main contents include ensuring no further military aggression, compensation payments from the US military, and establishing a new management mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz.
