Svmuu News: The Japanese stablecoin project JPYC officially issued a notice reminding users that when searching for "JPYC" in a wallet or DEX, counterfeit tokens with similar names, logos, or symbols may appear.
The official stated that verifying the authenticity of a token cannot rely solely on its name or icon. Users must strictly check whether the token contract address is completely consistent with the information published in the official FAQ. Even if only one character differs, it is a different token. Additionally, the official reminded users not to perform actions such as transferring, swapping, approving, or signing with unknown tokens.
