Iran's national football team relocates World Cup base from the United States to Mexico
On the 23rd, Mehdi Taj, President of the Iranian Football Federation, announced that with FIFA's approval, the Iranian national football team's base for this World Cup has been relocated from the United States to Mexico. In a statement released to the media, Taj stated that due to difficulties encountered in the visa process, the Iranian national team requested FIFA to move its World Cup base from Tucson, Arizona, USA, to Tijuana, Mexico, where local preparatory work has been completed. Tijuana is located on the US-Mexico border, approximately 20 kilometers from the southern California city of San Diego. (Xinhua News Agency)
