According to Iranian sources on the 26th local time, a source close to the Iranian negotiating team stated that one of the main disagreements in the current Iran-US negotiations is the issue of unfreezing Iranian overseas funds. The source claimed that the US once "stepped back" on fulfilling relevant commitments, but Iran insists that "no agreement can be reached" before the agreed-upon funds are delivered.
Iran stated that, following coordination by Qatar, some progress has been made on the related issues. However, given the history of the US "breaking its promises," Iran is "prepared for all possible scenarios." (CCTV News)
