Svmuu News: Fintech startup Karta announced the completion of a $15 million Series A funding round led by Galaxy Ventures, with participation from Illuminate, Canary, and Clocktower Ventures. The company also secured a $125 million debt financing facility from CIM Group. Karta offers U.S. credit card services “without requiring an SSN or ITIN” to international customers who hold assets with U.S. banks or brokerage firms, allowing users to complete all post-activation procedures via WhatsApp. The company has partnered with approximately 85 private banks and wealth management firms.
