Svmuu News: According to Iran’s Fars News Agency, an advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader stated that Iran will not relinquish the capabilities it has acquired in the Strait of Hormuz. According to other reports from Iranian sources, following 80 minutes of negotiations, the Iran-U.S. talks—held with Pakistan and Qatar serving as mediators—were temporarily suspended for a break and internal consultations. Reports indicate that the issue of Iran’s nuclear program was not discussed during the first round of talks. This round of negotiations focused on implementing Article 13 of the Memorandum of Understanding and prioritized issues related to Lebanon. (Jin Shi)
