Based on the recently released Doubao 2.1 series of models, the Professional Edition is designed for users in complex office and productivity scenarios, offering higher usage quotas and introducing, for the first time, an office task mode capable of executing Agent tasks.
According to the announcement, once authorized by the user, the Office Task Mode can directly interact with the local computer and browser to assist with tasks such as document processing, spreadsheet management, and data organization, while also supporting cross-application automation, such as automatically scheduling Weibo posts. This mode features a built-in Office suite that supports multi-round editing and collaboration on online documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations. It also provides skill packages for creative design, data visualization, and financial analysis, while allowing users to create custom skills.
Additionally, Doubao Professional Edition supports scheduled tasks, enabling the automatic generation of daily reports and summary information; in application development scenarios, it also supports the rapid creation of online application systems with backend databases; related database features are currently in the gray-scale testing phase.
Regarding pricing, the Professional Edition Standard Plan costs 68 yuan for a continuous monthly subscription and includes access to the Doubao 2.1 Pro model, with quotas for Office Task and Expert modes increased by more than five times compared to the free version; The Enhanced Plan costs 200 yuan per month and offers 4 times the quota of the Standard Plan; the Premium Plan costs 500 yuan per month and offers 10 times the quota of the Standard Plan. Free users can still experience the Office Tasks mode powered by the Doubao 2.1 Turbo model.
Additionally, ByteDance is offering exclusive discounts for college students: verified students who purchase the Standard Plan can enjoy a monthly subscription price of 38 yuan, and the company will also provide accessibility discount plans for users with visual impairments.
