Svmuu News: The Nikkei 225 index closed up 107.23 points, or 0.15%, at 69,468.11 on Monday, June 29, after having fallen more than 1% at one point during the session. South Korea’s KOSPI index closed up 5.62 points, or 0.07%, at 8,416.83 on Monday, June 29; the KOSDAQ index closed up about 8%. After Samsung and SK announced their investment plans, the KOSPI index erased losses of up to 3.4% and turned positive during the session, while the KOSDAQ index, which tracks small-cap stocks, also rebounded.
