Svmuu News TRON The TRON Nile testnet has launched its post-quantum upgrade and released the mandatory upgrade version GreatVoyage-v4.8.2-PQ1-build1.This version introduces post-quantum signature capabilities for the first time, supporting two signature algorithms—Falcon-512 and ML-DSA-44—further advancing TRON TRON’s technical exploration and capability validation in the field of post-quantum security.
According to official information, these capabilities can be applied to scenarios such as transaction signing, SR block signing, P2P relay node handshakes, and TVM contract signature verification. TRON TRON reminds developers who have deployed Nile testnet nodes to complete the version upgrade as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the relevant new features must still be approved through a proposal vote before they can officially take effect on the Nile testnet; the activation of testnet features does not imply that they will be launched simultaneously on the mainnet.
