Svmuu News: On July 1, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) updated its sanctions list targeting the extremist group ISIS-K (Islamic State Khorasan Province),adding 134 cryptocurrency wallet addresses as identifiers, including 131 TRON chain addresses and 3 Monero addresses.
Tetherhas frozen all assets in the aforementioned 131 TRON addresses.Data shows that since 2023, these wallets have cumulatively received over $1.4 million and transferred out over $880,000. ISIS-K is a branch of the “Islamic State” active in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and its media department has previously raised funds through cryptocurrency donations.
