Svmuu News: EDX Markets, a digital asset trading platform for institutional investors, announced the completion of a $76 million Series C funding round led by Japanese financial group SBI Holdings. The company stated that the funds raised will be used to upgrade its trading, clearing, and settlement infrastructure, accelerate product development, and scale its global institutional business.
Previously, EDX launched EDX FlowConnect, which enables enterprises to launch digital asset trading services in compliance with regulations. Additionally, the platform has submitted an application to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish EDX Trust, which will build a federally regulated digital asset custody, clearing, settlement, and risk management system.
