This authorization was issued by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under the MiFID framework, permitting regulated firms to provide investment services and trade financial instruments, including stocks and derivatives. Coinbase The company stated that advanced traders will have access to perpetual futures related to cryptocurrencies, stocks, and commodities, while retail investors will be able to trade stocks. Stablecoin payments, savings, lending, cryptocurrencies, derivatives, and stocks will also be available on Coinbase, and the tokenization of real-world assets is already in the works.
