HSBC Completes Hong Kong's First Issuance of a Native Digital Structured Product
Svmuu News: HSBC has completed Hong Kong’s first issuance of a native digital structured product in the form of a private placement of U.S. dollar-denominated notes. The notes were issued directly on the blockchain rather than digitized retroactively. Marketnode served as the tokenization agent and digital payment agent, managing the payment flows between the issuer and investors. Previously, HSBC, Marketnode, and UOB had jointly participated in the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Project Guardian and submitted a case study on the issuance of digitally native structured notes.
