FLEOA supports the CLARITY Act, calling for amendments to provisions related to DeFi accountability
Svmuu News: The Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association stated on July 10 that it had submitted a letter to the U.S. Senate Banking Committee in support of the CLARITY Act, while calling for amendments to the bill to strengthen accountability in decentralized finance (DeFi) and preserve investigators’ existing powers. The bill had previously received support from the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, marking the second public endorsement it has received from a major U.S. law enforcement organization.
