Oman reaffirmed that it will continue to cooperate with all parties to promote the restoration of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Svmuu News: The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the 14th (local time), stating that in light of recent discussions regarding navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, Oman will continue to cooperate with all parties in a transparent and neutral manner to promote the restoration of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and ensure that relevant arrangements are fully in accordance with international law. The statement noted that Oman will continue to fulfill its obligations as a State Party to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and called on all relevant parties to respect international law and address related issues in accordance with it.
