Bank of America Securities: New "Dark Side of the Moon" Model Suggests Industry Leadership Is Becoming Short-Lived
Svmuu News: In a research report, Bank of America Securities stated that the new model released by Dark Side of the Moon indicates that competitive leadership in the AI industry is becoming increasingly short-lived. The report noted that the parameter scale of Dark Side of the Moon’s Kimi K3 model has nearly tripled compared to the previous-generation K2 model. Analysts stated: “ For Alibaba, although its cloud services business will benefit from the continued growth in demand for AI training and applications—even amid an environment where computing resources remain tight—the market narrative surrounding its Tongyi Qianwen as an ‘open-source leader’ may face new challenges. ” Bank of America noted that the launch of Dark Side of the Moon’s new model has also increased pressure on other independent AI labs such as Zhipu and MiniMax.
