SlowMist Detects a Fake Recruitment Campaign in Which Scammers Posing as Headhunters Send Malicious GitHub Code
Svmuu News: SlowMist MistEye recently detected a malicious campaign targeting developers that uses fake Web3 job postings to carry out attacks. The attackers impersonate recruiters on LinkedIn, building trust by discussing work experience and interview experiences, and then send a GitHub repository disguised as an “interview MVP” to trick developers into running the project. Analysis revealed that this malicious repository hides `theme/js/auron-core.min.js` within a Tailwind plugin.
