Svmuu News: Anchorpoint, a fintech firm led by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong), is one of the two holders of stablecoin issuer licenses granted by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) in its first batch this past April. Standard Chartered and Anchorpoint are expected to issue a joint announcement as early as the end of this month—that is, within the next two weeks—to announce the launch of HKDAP, a stablecoin pegged to the Hong Kong dollar. Previously, in April of this year, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) issued the first batch of stablecoin issuer licenses to Anchorpoint and HSBC.
