The total amount is approximately $200 million; in the first half of this year, an estimated 34,000 suspicious transactions were flagged.
Svmuu News: As prediction markets such as Kalshi and Polymarket become increasingly popular and expand in scale, the phenomenon of trading based on insider information is on the rise. An analysis of approximately 34,000 transactions flagged as suspicious revealed that, between January and June 2026, the total value of these transactions amounted to approximately $200 million. Geopolitical and war-related bets were the primary drivers, with Iran-related bets peaking in late February. Among the flagged transactions, as much as 71% were funded through U.S.-regulated crypto exchanges. Profits from these flagged transactions were highly concentrated, with the top 1% of profitable wallets capturing more than half of the profits; 57% of these wallets were created within 24 hours prior to the transactions.
