Svmuu News: With SpaceX announcing that it will release its Q2 2026 financial results on August 4, according to the provisions of SpaceX’s previous prospectus, shares held by eligible insider shareholders will begin to vest two days after the company publishes its Q2 2026 financial results.
This means the countdown to the wave of SpaceX stock unlocking has begun, and August 6 will mark the first major unlocking event, accounting for 8% of the total outstanding shares (20% of the early lock-up pool) of early shares will be unlocked. If the stock price rises 30% above the IPO price and meets this criterion on 5 out of 10 trading days, an additional 10% may be unlocked; therefore, the maximum number of shares that can be unlocked on August 6 will reach 12%.
In addition to August 6, 2.8% of shares will be unlocked on August 21, September 10, September 25, October 12, and October 26, respectively, prior to the release of SpaceX’s Q3 2026 earnings report.
The countdown to the SpaceX stock vesting wave has begun; 8% of shares will vest for the first time on August 6.
