Trade[XYZ] has covered 46% of its ticker costs on the HIP-3 market, with GOLD transaction fee revenue exceeding $4.6 million
Svmuu News: HyperliquidNews posted on X stating that to launch a HIP-3 market, the deployer must lock 500,000 hyperliquid:native and purchase one ticker for each market created. As the largest HIP-3 deployer, Trade[XYZ] has purchased 103 tickers and launched 87 markets. The minimum cost for a single ticker is 500 hyperliquid:native, currently valued at approximately $31,400. HIP-3 revenue comes from transaction fees generated by each market, with 50% going to the deployer and 50% to the Assistance Fund, which uses the proceeds to repurchase and burn hyperliquid:native. To encourage trading activity on HIP-3 markets, Hyperliquid has introduced Growth Mode, which reduces trading fees by 90%. Deployers can choose whether to enable this mode, with a few exceptions. Despite the reduced fees, 40 of the 87 markets launched on Trade[XYZ] have generated revenue exceeding 500 hyperliquid:native tokens, meaning they have at least covered the initial ticker costs. This represents 46% of all launched markets; this figure accounts only for ticker costs and does not include other operating expenses. As long as trading activity continues, each ticker will continue to generate revenue. Some tickers have already generated millions of dollars in fees for both Hyperliquid and Trade[XYZ]; for example, GOLD has generated over $4.6 million in fees for each platform. GBP is currently the least profitable ticker, having generated $610 in revenue for Trade[XYZ] to date.
