Svmuu News: Ostium, a perpetual futures DEX on Arbitrum, has announced that it will resume trading on July 23 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. All open positions and pending orders will be retained as-is, repriced based on real-time market prices at the time of resumption, and evaluated to determine whether liquidation or take-profit/stop-loss triggers have been met. The protocol will restore functionality in phases. Initially, only operations that reduce positions—such as closing positions, adding margin, modifying or canceling orders, and automatic take-profit, stop-loss, and liquidation—will be available. The ability to open new positions will be enabled once all relevant pending orders have been executed. Ostium also announced a suspension of new OLP liquidity deposits; existing LP withdrawals will be processed during the next settlement cycle. The platform reminded users to be wary of fraudulent accounts impersonating official channels, noting that the official team will never request private keys or mnemonic phrases. Previously, Ostium, a perpetual futures DEX on Arbitrum, was reportedly attacked, resulting in losses of approximately $18 million.
