Svmuu News: BNY Mellon announced that it plans to launch a pilot program for tokenized U.S. Treasuries on its private blockchain by the end of this year, with plans to roll out tokenized U.S. Treasuries by the end of 2026, with the goal of achieving 24/7 settlement for both traditional and tokenized U.S. Treasuries by 2027. Earlier this year, the bank facilitated after-hours U.S. Treasury transactions involving Ripple and OpenEden, a stablecoin issuer.
