Svmuu News: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent posted on X, stating that while he supports open-source AI and the innovation it brings, open-source should not be used as an excuse to flagrantly infringe upon U.S. intellectual property rights. If Chinese companies carry out covert, industrial-scale extraction attacks that cross the line into intellectual property theft, sanctions will be considered, and they will be added to the Entity List.
