Svmuu News Coinbase announced a partnership with Mubadala Capital, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund, and tokenization infrastructure provider KAIO to issue compliant on-chain tokens for Mubadala’s Evergreen Private Market Fund and make them available to accredited investors.
Coinbase Not only will the token issuance be supported via the Base network, but the company will also purchase the tokens and include them on its balance sheet—marking the first time a major U.S. publicly traded company has utilized regulated tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) for native on-chain asset management.The product will also be deployed on the Solana and Sui networks, with KAIO providing the compliant tokenization infrastructure. Currently, the project has attracted approximately $75 million in funding, and Mubadala manages nearly $400 billion in assets. (Fortune)
