Svmuu News: Bitwise has released its “Q3 2026 Staking Report,” which shows that 40.2 million ETH have been staked to date, accounting for 33% of the total ETH supply—a new all-time high. New staking activity this year has primarily come from institutional investors, including staking ETFs, corporate treasuries, and other large holders.The report also shows that staking rates across the networks covered by Bitwise remain high, with Solana at 68%, Near at 45%, Hyperliquid at 44%, and Avalanche at 41%.
Furthermore, Ethereum’s throughput increased by 73% year-over-year, while Avalanche’s transaction volume reached four times that of the same period last year. Recently, Coinbase and Circle staked 500,000 HYPE each on Hyperliquid, indicating that institutional staking is expanding to more emerging PoS networks.
