SoftBank Considering the acquisition of robotics startup Gravis
Svmuu News: According to sources familiar with the matter, the SoftBank Group is considering the acquisition of Gravis Robotics AG, as SoftBank sets its sights on the artificial intelligence sector that underpins robotics technology. SoftBank plans to make a substantial investment in this European startup and integrate it into its newly established company, Roze.SoftBank The transaction may be completed in phases, achieved through the gradual acquisition of existing shares and the injection of new capital. Sources familiar with the matter said the deal could ultimately value Zurich-based Gravis at more than $500 million. They noted that no final decision has yet been made regarding the deal’s size or structure.
