According to a report by South Korean media outlet Newsis, citing a presidential adviser, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix will move forward with a chip cooperation project worth 1,375 trillion won with major U.S. tech companies.
In addition, market sources indicate that Samsung Electronics has signed a memorandum of understanding with Broadcom to establish a five-year, $20 billion agreement for the foundry production of advanced memory chips.
